Did you know the average child laughs 200 to 300 times a day – whereas the average adult laughs just 10 to 15 times a day? You’ve surely seen children laugh at the smallest things for no apparent reason at all. Their laughter is a sign of that unconditional joy resting within each of us.

Unfortunately, as we grow older, most of us lose touch with this joyous, carefree nature. We start to view laughter as conditional, needing something really funny to be justified.

In Laughter Yoga, we reconnect with that spirit of unconditional laughter that children embody. Instead of relying on jokes that require a certain sense of humor, we use silly exercises to reconnect you with what you once knew: that we can laugh just because. Just because laughter is fun, uplifting, joyful, and free.
